Hello! I am happy to be able to share a bit about myself. I graduated from The UMKC School of Dentistry in May of 2003. During my time in school, I fell in love with the Kansas City area, especially the beautiful, historic Brookside area. Later that same year when Western Dental Clinic needed an extra pair of hands, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect for me to join the team here at Western Dental Clinic. I consider myself very fortunate to have learned from the best; working along side David Western DDS for 6+ years taught me what it means to truly care for people.
Brookside Family Dental was officially born in 2010, upon Dr. Western’s well-deserved retirement.
For the last 13 years, I have grown daily in my knowledge, understanding, and experience of this art called dentistry. My favorite parts are two-fold: I like to help people feel better through maintaining healthy smiles (and subsequently healthy bodies) and, I love to help people feel better about how they look. I truly believe that when we feel good about the way we look, we have more confidence and we can be the best, happiest version of ourselves. Everyone deserves just that!
I have more hobbies than any one person should have. A few of them include: gardening, sewing, traveling, remodeling my house, and otherwise being creative. My family is number one. When I’m not working with my second family (my patients), I enjoy time with my four kiddos and awesome husband.
